Happy Holiday's!

All,

We'll it's been an exciting year full of new adventures, a lot of hard work, and joy in our family.  Piper is growing very fast which makes it challenging to cherish every moment.  In fact, this holiday season has gone by so fast we didn't have a chance to send out Christmas cards this year!  So although it's not as personal as a card I'm posting our last blog of the year and wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas here!  See below for pictures from our family get-away in Leavenworth last weekend.  We hope your holiday's are full of joy and fun and wish you the best for 2010.

Cheers,
Adam, Nicole, and Piper

Thanksgiving, 1st Birthday Party, and More...

Hi,

It's been a busy November and now we're into the home stretch for the holiday's.  I've posted several photo's going back to the baby's group birthday party before Thanksgiving.  Since then we've been to several 1st birthday parties and all of them have been cute.  Thanksgiving was at grandma Teresa's house were Piper had a great time playing with Sophie.  Piper enjoyed hanging with everyone, especially great-grandma Peggy.  My mom came to visit for a couple weeks and joined us for Thanksgiving through Piper's birthday party.  We had a great party for Piper at a local play center on Phinney ridge.  Everyone gave her great presents and she had a good time.  We tried to get her to get her hands dirty in her birthday cake but she ended up wanting Dad to feed her!

Nicole took her in for her 1 year check-up.  Piper is weighing in at a scant 18lbs (10% percentile) but is both lean and tall at 29 1/2 in. (50 - 75% percentile).  And, credit goes to grandma Kathy for teaching Piper her first recognizable words (other than momma and dadda).... "Uh Oh"!  It's really cute - we'll upload some video soon!  In the meantime enjoy the pictures below.

Cheers,
Adam
